Over the course of 5 months, photographers who choose to be apart of the Elena S Blair Photography Mastermind will transform their business and themselves. Although every experience is different we have seen so many talented photographers grow in ways that sometimes even surprise themselves. In this blog series we will highlight Alumni who have completed the photography mastermind and allow them to discuss what their personal experience was like. Keep reading to see the thoughts of today’s Alumni, Katie Niemer.

What cohort were you a part of? I was apart of Level 1 – Cohort 4.

What your favorite part of the mastermind?

I gained so much from the ESB Mastermind. I shored up social media and started writing with heart, feeling, and connection. I no longer aimlessly post, but instead of intentionality behind everything I post. My SEO is finally starting to work, and while I’m not on the first page of Google yet, I keep inching closer. I blog more regularly and I’m seeing how much it impacts my SEO. I booked more clients than I ever have and made more money during the course because what Elena’s teaching works. But my favorite part of the entire experience was the positive, uplifting, and supportive community. I made friends with women who are my direct competitors, which is bananas, but I believe that this sense of community and the love pouring from it allowed me to make huge gains in my business, and I’m forever grateful for that!

What are some changes or improvements that you have seen in your business since joining and completing the mastermind?

My SEO went up 200% after my first blog post during the Mastermind and continued to go up. My engagement on both Instagram and Facebook has been on a 60-day gain streak.

What are some changes or improvements that you have seen in your habits, lifestyle, confidence, and spirituality that you have seen in yourself since joining and completing the mastermind?

My sense intentionality and purpose has deepened. I have a greater sense of purpose and a deeper belief in myself and what I can accomplish. I set goals for myself now that I meet and exceed.

How would you describe the retreat experience.

The retreat was an incredible finale to all the learning. I made incredible friends from all over the country who felt more like sisters than friends. The time was divided well between learning, free time, and mindfulness. I loved starting with yoga each morning and connecting deeply with artists from all over the country during happy hour.

What would you tell someone to help them take the leap and join the Mastermind? What words of encouragement do you think they need?

Investing in yourself is the best investment you can make, and you will make your money back in no time. This Mastermind is 100% worth the money.

What are you working on right now? What is something that you are excited about in your life and biz? 

I’m currently working on a composition class for the education side of the business.
