The Elena S Blair Community Print Competition was created as a place for photographers to share work they’re proud of and take part in a photography print competition for photographers that feels supportive, approachable, and grounded in real community.
It’s about showing up, submitting your work, and being part of something alongside other photographers who understand the process, the pressure, and the passion behind every image.
Each year, photographers inside the Elena S Blair Education community are invited to enter images and participate in a competition that values connection just as much as creativity.
Nine Categories That Reflect Real Work
The competition includes nine categories that reflect the work many photographers are already creating: Black and White, Documentary, Environmental Portrait, Family, Fine Art Portrait, Maternity, Motherhood, Newborn and Pets.
These categories allow photographers to submit images that feel true to their style and season of life. With hundreds of submissions across all nine categories, this photography print competition for photographers highlights just how diverse and thoughtful the work within the The Elena S Blair Education community really is.
How the Competition Works
Once submissions close, a panel of judges reviews every entry and narrows the field down to ten finalists per category. From there, the process is handed to the community itself.
Finalist images are shared inside the Elena S Blair Education Facebook group, where members vote to select the winners. This peer-driven voting is what makes the competition feel collaborative and really communal. It’s photographers supporting photographers.
What the Winners Receive
Winners of the 2026 print competition receive a free ticket to attend the 2027 Elena S Blair Mastermind Retreat. Winning images are professionally displayed at that year’s retreat, giving photographers the opportunity to have their work printed, showcased, and viewed in person by retreat attendees.
Why This Competition Matters
At its heart, this photography print competition for photographers is about participation and growth. It’s about pressing submit, voting for work you love, and being part of a community that values community over competition.
To everyone who entered, voted, and supported one another, thank you. This competition exists because of the people who show up and take part. We’re so proud of this community and excited to see how it continues to grow, create, and connect year after year.
